A proposal for all "Americans"

October 27, 2002 ~ 1:20 a.m.

To the tens of thousands of Americans who protested recently against the Bush administration, derided the effort to rid the world of the dangerous megalomaniac known as Saddam Hussein, and allied themselves with the sort of people who blow themselves up with bombs and wipe out hundreds along with them a.k.a. the Palestinians I propose that you be stripped of your American citizenship right here and now.

For those that think Im being ridiculous by suggesting such a thing, you dont truly understand the compassion that I am showing toward such people. Honestly, these traitors I mean, protestors are miserable and self-loathing, and the thought of living and working in a strong, proud nation, a nation willing to stick up for itself and for democracy across the world, is very difficult for them. Just by standing on American soil, they are compromising their beliefs, their outlook and their approach toward life.

Like the transsexual who feels that he or she was born into the wrong body, those protestors who astonishingly made the effort to put aside their copy of Michael Moores Stupid White Men for more than a minute feel that they were born into the wrong country, the wrong lifestyle. I suggest deporting them to Europe where they will feel much more at home.

Since Europe is a continent that is willing to watch the rights of its sovereign nations get stripped away by an unelected body, it is quite understandable why its inhabitants support the Iraqi dictator so much. Both Hussein and the common European have a disdain for democracy in common.

Europe is also the Wimps R Us of the world. A continent full of anti-Western (read, self-loathing) sentiment, these Americans will fit right in. They will become Europeans on the spot.

Maybe the spirit of the late Senator Paul Wellstone will guide this sad lot over on their flight across the Atlantic. After all, shouldnt their guardian angel and journey be as fucked up as their philosophy?

I sure as hell think so.
