Les ruines romaines de Nice

June 13, 2005 ~ 8:02 p.m.

During our most recent trip to Nice, the wife and I finally made it to Cimiez, a community to the northeast of the city where some Roman ruinsbaths, a hall and an ampitheatreare to be found.

We also took a ferry around the harbor, the Baie des Anges. It was nice seeing the seafront of Nice from the other direction. The wife enjoyed herself too.

I also learned that if a white person with Irish skin is going to sunbathe, he'd better be careful to lather up on the sunscreen. This I failed to do and the dragon of the night is now in the process of molting.

Well, hey, forgive me, but when in France ...!
